ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
Here at the Fairy Ring we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. Locally made toys are by their very nature environmentally friendly; as they don't spend weeks on ships chugging across the seas. Where ever possible we make our toys from locally obtained raw materials and all of our toys are locally handmade.
Here are some other ways that handmade Fairy Ring toys are environmentally friendly:
- Fairy Ring wooden toys are made from plantation timber only.
- Natural paints are used on our wooden toys.
- Renewable energy is used at The Fairy Ring.
- Our product has no excess packaging, plastic or otherwise.
- We use paper for fill in any shipments.
- All applicable materials are recycled or composted onsite.
- All possible waste material is reused. For example offcuts of felt are reused as stuffing for toys.
Everything we sell on Fairy Ring is locally handmade. Not only are handmade toys unique and long lasting, we also believe that locally made items have the lowest impact to the environment.
